VENICE, IT— This past Tuesday, famous climate activist Greta Thunberg, and other members of the Extinction Rebellion environmental group, dumped “non-toxic fluorescein dye” into the waters of Venice, turning them into a striking green.
Thunberg and members of her group have since been banned from Venice, committing the unforgivable sin of figuring out a way to make European waters somehow…dirtier?
“I just wish she would have told us about this plan before,” said regional governor Luca Zaia. “Our goal, as Europeans, is always to figure out ways we can become dirtier. We are offended she did not consider collaborating with us instead, as opposed to protest.”
