I think it will take time for generational traumas to heal so we can all come together and celebrate everyone’s differences in peace. I think it’s important to consider people’s intentions and I think most people mean well. When NWA said “fuck the police,” a lot of people all over the country heard that and supported change. I understand why hip hop is still so divided but it’s unfortunate to see.
